Welcome to Pack 806

Pack 806 is a Cub Scout Pack in Houston, Texas, chartered by the Brotherhood of Congregation Beth Israel. We welcome boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade, bringing families together to explore, learn, and grow through the values of Scouting. Pack 806 was founded in 1986 with Nelson Block serving as its first Cubmaster.

Our program is built around fun activities, adventure, and hands-on learning. Cub Scouts develop leadership, character, pride in citizenship, and confidence while making lifelong friendships. 

 

Throughout the year, Cub Scouts participate in Den and Pack meetings, outdoor adventures, community service projects, and classic Scouting traditions such as the Pinewood Derby, campouts, hikes, and family events. Parents/guardians are always welcome, and siblings (regardless of whether they are in Cub Scouts) can join us at most events.  As they progress through the program, they earn advancements, discover new interests, and build skills that will serve them for years to come.

Our Cubmaster is Brian Block, and Assistant Cubmaster is Jeremy Penner. Brian and Jeremy are both former Pack 806 Cub Scouts. In fact, current membership includes Brian's own daughters and Jeremy's nephew.
